Culture

The Church of Saint John of Nepomuk was built between 1760 and 1764 on the site of an earlier chapel. The listed building is a spacious Baroque structure with a unique mansard roof and a shape resembling a burning heart.

On the grounds of the Jewish cemetery in Radobyl stands a building with a stone taharah slab used for the ritual cleansing of the deceased. The pilgrimage spring above Jedlí and Skrýšov once attracted processions and individual visitors who prayed there for good health.

Trails

The 18 km hiking trail „To Saint John“ runs from Krásná Hora via Svatý Jan, Brzina, Kunclův mlýn, Drážkov and Hojšín. On the way to Svatý Jan, the trail crosses the Brzina stream via a footbridge.

Near Brzina, the Kunclův Mill has a water wheel that drives a sawmill and generates electricity for the mill.

Places

The Váchův Špejchar Museum in Drážkov presents an exhibition about the difficult lives of people in the central Vltava region. The restored Špejchar in Drážkov serves as a gallery.

At the Váchův Špejchar Museum, individual visits and excursions for groups of four or more can be arranged by telephone.

The fourth edition of the JÓGOVÝ FESTIVAL was announced at Hogo Fogo in Drážkov.
