Nature and landscape

Vševily lies on the southern edge of the Brdy Mountains. The landscape offers views and vistas that invite you to go for walks and explore the surrounding area. The deep Brdy forests offer opportunities for cycling.

The mountain Štěrbina is located in the immediate vicinity of Vševily. The mountains Vinice, Praha and Nad Moráskem are also in the surrounding area.

Culture and history

The Chapel of St John of Nepomuk, with a cast-iron cross on a stone pedestal, is a protected immovable cultural monument with registration number ÚSKP 14358/2-2600. Vševily is also home to GALERIE 10, an exhibition space for works of art. The gallery is located in the staircase leading to the municipal library; its exhibitions generally change three to four times a year.

In the wider regional surroundings of Vševily are the historical site Lety u Písku – Památník holokaustu Romů a Sintů v Čechách, Zvíkov Castle, and the ruins Zřícenina Valdek and Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast.

Wine and local character

Chateau Aureus Vševily began collecting information in 1995 about suitable grape varieties for the unusual altitude of 594 metres in the southern Brdy Mountains. The first wine from Chateau Aureus Vševily was bottled in 2002. The Chateau Aureus Vševily vineyard is located as a small, sunny site behind the municipal office.

Special experiences

From 2016 onwards, the private Vševily quarry was made accessible for introductory dives and courses through the Lucky Diving diving club and diving school. Access is provided via the Lucky-Diving diving club.
