Starý Stránov is one of the historical sites in Písková Lhota. The castle ruins date from the 13th to the 15th century and are situated on a rocky promontory on the left bank of the Jizera above the settlement of Zámostí near Písková Lhota. In Písková Lhota, Starý Stránov is also classified as an important archaeological site.
Culture
The Jewish cemetery is a Baroque cemetery complex dating from around the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries, which served several Jewish communities in the surrounding area. It is located on a steep slope below the former Starý Stránov fortress in the Písková Lhota–Zámostí area. From the east, the cemetery can be accessed via one of the municipality’s local roads.
Hradiště nad Vlčím dolem is a registered immovable cultural monument in a forest about 1 km south of Písková Lhota. The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk and the wayside shrine are also registered immovable cultural monuments. The statue stands in a field 200 m north of the settlement and about 70 m from road 11/610. The wayside shrine is located in a field about 10 m from a field road that leads south from road 1/16 before crossing road 11/610.

The Písková Lhota–Zámostí educational trail is an easy 5 km circular route that starts and ends at the Písková Lhota municipal office. It has ten stops with information boards and interactive elements.
