Culture and History
Okřínek was first mentioned in writing in 1790. Originally, the village consisted only of a farm; in the second half of the 19th century, it developed into a municipality.
On the village square in Okřínek, a monument to the victims of the First World War stands in front of the former school building. A simple stone cross dating from 1902 stands on the road to Jičín.
