The Milevsko–Prčice–Milevsko route also passes through Nechvalice. In the village, cycle path 8139 crosses cycle path 8143. This 12 km cycle path leads from Petrovice via Nechvalice to Nové Dvory near Sedlec-Prčice; it also runs from Nechvalice via Libčice and Ředice to Nové Dvory.

The settlement of Nechvalice lies in the valley of the Počepický potok stream. The mountains Javorová Skála, Hrby and Jenšovice are located in the surrounding area. In the wider regional vicinity of Nechvalice are Hrad Zvíkov Castle, Zvíkovec Mountain, the historical site of Lety u Písku, the Memorial to the Holocaust of Roma and Sinti in Bohemia, Konopiště Castle and the Church of Svatý Jan.

Culture and History

A fortified manor once stood above the stream in Nechvalice, where the judge or village head lived. The Church of St Nicholas in Nechvalice was originally built in the Romanesque style and later rebuilt in the Gothic style. It contains an original pewter baptismal font dating from 1788.

Regular masses are scheduled at the Church of St Nicholas in Nechvalice on Sundays at 08:00 and Thursdays at 17:00.
