Těchařovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Těchařovice was first mentioned in writing in 1356. The landscape includes small groves; approximately one third of the area of the municipality of Těchařovice is forested.

Nature and Landscape

Large ponds border Těchařovice on two sides. Another pond lies south of Těchařovice; together with the other ponds, it in a sense encloses the Háj grove.

The Vinice, Bukovec, Velká Leč and Velká Třemošná hills are located around Těchařovice.

Hiking and Excursions

A blue-marked hiking trail of the Klubu českých turistů (KČT) runs through Těchařovice. The Březnice–Starosedlský Hrádek excursion route also passes through the village.

The current PID bus line 428 serves the Těchařovice, Na Čmíně stop.

History and Culture

A historic chapel stands approximately in the centre of Těchařovice on the main road.

The historic site “Lety u Písku. Památník holokaustu Romů a Sintů v Čechách” is located in the wider regional surroundings of Těchařovice.

The Hrad Zvíkov castle, the Zřícenina Valdek ruins and the Svatá Anna church are also located in the wider regional surroundings.

Březnice State Chateau is a national cultural monument site and is administered by the National Heritage Institute.
