The historic center of Litichovice consists of an original compact settlement with rural farmsteads. At the entrance to the village, a wayside cross is designated as a historically significant structure.
Culture and History
The Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes in Litichovice was built in 1920 by Jan Lejček at his own expense and consecrated on October 10, 1920. On March 12, 1942, the 200-year-old, 12 kg bell, dedicated to Saint Joseph, was removed from this chapel for war purposes.
Traditionally, Posvícení dances were held in Litichovice. During the Sunday Posvícení celebration, a music group went through the village, played songs on request, and received koláče as refreshments. Dancing at the Posvícení celebration continued until Monday.
