Choratice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Choratice was first mentioned in writing in 1205. The settlement structure includes former agricultural farmsteads around the village square and gives the place a clearly recognizable historical character.

History and Culture

Choratice is home to the Chapel of the Virgin Mary. No regular services are held in the chapel.

Nature

In the northern part of the cadastral area of Choratice, a protected area belonging to a supra-regional ecological corridor extends into the area. According to the assessment of the Czech Nature Conservation Agency (AOPK), the entire administrative area of Choratice is considered an area of importance for migration.

Geographical Location

The D1 motorway is located near the southern part of Choratice. Road II/110 runs through the northern part of Choratice.

Cycling

The Sázava Cycle Route 1/B passes through Choratice. The recommended circular cycling routes around Sázava are up to 30 km long. The cycling routes starting from Sázava combine main roads, minor roads, and forest tracks.
