Lipník is surrounded by forests on all sides. The forests around the village are ideal for mushroom picking.

History

Lipník was evacuated in 1940 and served as a firing range for the German army. After the Second World War, residents returned and began rebuilding the village.

The Mordové rokle open-air military history museum commemorates the history of the former military training area from 1904 to 1991. It is located in the cadastral area of Lipník, and its grounds are freely accessible year-round.

Object V-521 houses a museum memorial to the armies that were stationed or operated in the former Milovice–Mladá military area. Object V-521 is accessible during regular opening events.

Culture

The “Pomník Obětem 1. světové války” memorial stands on a lawn in the centre of Lipník. It bears an inscription commemorating those who died in the First World War, as well as the years 1914–1918.

The “Pomník Obětem 2. světové války” memorial commemorates the evacuation of Lipník in 1940 and its resettlement in 1945. The “Pomník vojákům Rudé armády” memorial also stands in the centre of the village. It bears the names МАРВАНЮК КИРИЛЛ ВАСИЛЭВИЧ and РАСТЯЛИН ВАСИЛИЙ ДЕНИСОВИЧ.
