Krhanice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Lešany Military Technical Museum has more than 700 historic military vehicles and related equipment. It presents its collections in ten halls, under six covered areas and outdoors, and is located between Krhanice and Lešany.

Culture and History

In 1228, half of Krhanice was owned by a monastery. In 2022, the Chapel of Saint Joseph with the Infant Jesus in Krhanice was repaired.

West of Krhanice, on the banks of the Sázava, lies the estate of House No. 22. It is a Neoclassical complex with decorative stucco ornamentation above the entrance; part of the grounds of House No. 22 is located in Krhanice.

The ruins of Zbořený Kostelec can be seen in the vicinity of Krhanice, above the Sázava.

Activities

The multi-purpose sports ground in Krhanice offers playing areas for volleyball and badminton. It has a 33 x 15 m multi-purpose court for ball sports and includes a 5 x 10 m area for table tennis with a table tennis table.

Children’s Day in Krhanice is a traditional event. The Noc s Andersenem event has already taken place for the 13th time.

Landscape and Trails

Krhanice railway station is integrated into the public transport system. The Podlešanský mlýn educational trail begins at Krhanice railway station and leads through six stops: Krhanice railway station, the Sázava, the Lešany Military Technical Museum, Obory, the Ovčička and Beránek ponds, and the Podlešanský mlýn mill. The educational trail crosses the Sázava.
