Drachkov stretches for approximately 1 km along both banks of the Zahořanský potok. Within the village, the stream flows through Lískovec Pond.
Culture and History
The granary known as Špejchar Drachkov is a solid three-storey building on the corner of the manor farm and was built from the remains of the original fortress. In 2012, the building was threatened with being sold by the town of Bystřice; a petition and the local association Špejchar Drachkov, z. s., saved it.
The war memorial in Drachkov includes a plaque commemorating the victims who were tortured by the Nazis during the Second World War. At the end of Drachkov in the direction of Tožice stands the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk.
Events
The TJ Sokol Drachkov football stadium is currently used for sporting and cultural events.
