Chlum: Holiday Apartments and Houses

The 0004 cycle route “Vlašim–Zruč nad Sázavou”, also known as the “Velké Středočeské Kolo”, runs through Chlum. This connects the small village to a designated regional cycling route.

Landscape

The central Posázaví region, which is very popular for recreational purposes, lies near Chlum. The Blaník Protected Landscape Area is also located nearby. To the west of Chlum, the highly visible Javornická hůra, at 583 m above sea level, shapes the surrounding landscape.

The chapel in Chlum is dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk. The old chapel in Chlum was replaced by a new chapel in 2006; Holy Mass is celebrated in the chapel on the third Sunday of every month.

The Loreta Church is located near Chlum. The wider regional area also includes Želivský Kláštor Monastery and the Church of Svatý Jan.

The Kalamajka lookout tower on Javornická hůra is freely accessible to the public near Chlum. Access is available after borrowing a key. The playground in Chlum offers children and young people opportunities for play and sporting activities.
