Lštění: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The preserved outer wall of the Lštění hillfort is 200 metres long and encloses a triangular area of 3.5 hectares.

History

The Lštění hillfort was established at the turn of the 9th and 10th centuries and formed one of the boundary points of the Přemyslid domain. At the site of a former Slavic hillfort, the Gothic Church of St Clement was built at the beginning of the 14th century. On the Lštění hillfort, it retains its old dedication; its bell tower is Baroque and covered with shingles.

Visit

The programme for 2026 provides for the Church of St Clement to be open to the public every other Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A 750-metre section of the circular trail around the Lštění hillfort runs along a narrow forest path.

Nature

There are three hills in the vicinity of Lštění: Vepří [Přestavlky u Čerčan], Na Berance [Soběhrdy-Žíňany] and Meduná [Vranovská Lhota]. In the wider regional surroundings of Lštění, there are also Práče Fort, the Loreta Church and Žebrák Mountain.
