Hracholusky: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Hracholusky is located in the forests of Křivoklátsko. The gorge of the Berounka forms the southeastern boundary of the administrative area of the municipality of Hracholusky.

Nature and Landscape

The Valachov natural monument comprises adits created through the mining of alum shale. Valachov is also a site where secondary sulfur minerals have been found.

Čertova Skála is a geotourism attraction made of Neoproterozoic basalt with a typical pillow-lava structure; the basalt was formerly referred to as spilite. Čertova Skála is also a nature reserve within a protected landscape area.

Culture and History

Examples of traditional architecture have been preserved in Hracholusky, including wooden and masonry buildings. The first written mention of Hracholusky dates from 1379. Historically, Hracholusky was a fief serving Křivoklát Royal Castle.
