Březovice showcases, within a compact area, a combination of extensive woodland, protected cultural sites and clearly designated regional transport routes. Forests cover nearly 53 percent of the municipality’s total area.
Nature and Landscape
The cadastral area of Březovice is considered a landscape with enhanced landscape values. An extensive forest complex lies in the north-eastern half of the municipality; wooded slopes also line the deep valley of the Strenický potok stream.
Culture and History
The Víska district in the municipality of Březovice has been protected as a village heritage reserve since 25 July 1995. Březovice is also home to the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk and Hunting Residence, or Hunting Lodge No. 34, both listed as Czech cultural monuments. The entire municipality is also considered an area with archaeological finds.
Cycling Tour and Routes
“Březovice jedou” is a public cycling event; the tenth edition took place on 13 June 2026. Route 143 passes through Březovice in the direction of Katusice.
Transport
From 23 March 2026, a new diversion timetable of the Prague Integrated Transport system PID was in effect, which also affected the “Březovice, Víska, Bezdědice” stop.
