Syslov and the Castle

The Syslov fortification is located on a spur of land near Sovínky. At Syslov, a central area damaged by excavations and a broad neck ditch with an embankment have been preserved. From Sovínky, Syslov can be reached by road in the direction of Boreč, then via a turn-off and an uphill route to the site; admission is free. The marked cycle route No. 8158 runs through the Sovínky area from Bezno toward Zamachy and onward toward Kokořínsko. Footpaths used from Sovínky lead through the valley to the nearest places, Krušiny and Doubravička.
