Vrisnik participates in the UNESCO-protected procession “Za križen” – a tradition in which the village has participated for more than 500 years.

From the church square, you can see across the Stari Grad Plain, vineyards and olive groves, to Jelsa Bay, and over the sea towards Brač and Biokovo.

Hiking trails pass through Vrisnik, including a route towards the local sites “Indijanci” and “Ulta stine”. Cycling routes also pass through the settlement.

Getting There
Vrisnik can be reached from two directions: from State Road 116 near Jelsa or via the local road at the turn-off towards Pitve.
