On 15 May, Berrioplano/Berriobeiti celebrates its patronal festival in honour of San Isidro. On 1 November, Berrioplano/Berriobeiti holds the Castañé tradition, during which roasted chestnuts are sampled. The Iglesia de la Purificación de Nuestra Señora follows a Romanesque layout from the late 12th century. In 1629, Domingo de Lusa and Martín de Echeverría created its main altarpiece. On the south side, the church has a portico opened by two pointed arches. The single-nave, rectangular nave is approximately 17 m long and 6.15 m wide, divided into three sections of unequal size, and ends in a semicircular apse.

At a celebration in Berrioplano, a procession carrying the image of the saint passed through the town and surrounding area; the fields were blessed, followed by a Mass.
