Salobral: Holiday Apartment Between Culture, Nature and Horseback Riding

Salobral is located on the N-502, which connects Ávila with Talavera de la Reina. The Los Matías Equestrian Club is situated along this road at kilometre 9.5 in Salobral. The Campo de Vuelo de Salobral is home to the ULM flight school of the Club Deportivo Aeroclub Alauda. The Campo de Vuelo de Salobral is located in Salobral; on 28 January 2026, it was considered an airfield there. Riding lessons, riding routes and the ULM flight school thus exist alongside one another as different activities in the town, with the equestrian centre on one side and the airfield on the other.

Salobral is located in the centre of the Valle Amblés and is a village situated on the plain. The plain shapes the spatial character of the town, while the meadows in the surrounding area reveal distinctive landscape features. Large poplar trees grow there, where storks traditionally breed. The town’s location in the Valle Amblés thus combines the open plain with the meadows and the striking trees in the vicinity of Salobral.
