The SL-CC 251 hiking trail reaches Peña del Castillo, a rocky ridge rising from the landscape characterised by olive groves. The trail also leads to the Mirador de la Peña, from where you can see Zorita and its surroundings. On a hiking route through Zorita, a local legend about two lovers is told at Laguna de la Sangre. Culture

The Templete of Fuente Santa is a Baroque work from the 17th century and is located in the Dehesa de las Caballerías, four kilometres from Zorita. The dome of the Fuente Santa hermitage is richly decorated with paintings depicting the Virgin Mary. The Fuensanta hermitage dates from the 17th century. The Fuente Santa hermitage can be reached via a restored uphill path.

Zorita is attributed with Roman origins; numerous epigraphic finds have been discovered within its municipal area. The parish church of San Pablo was built in the Renaissance style.

In honour of Zorita’s patron saint, the Virgen de Fuente Santa, La Velá is traditionally celebrated from 15 to 17 August. On Easter Monday, a pilgrimage takes place to the Fuente Santa hermitage, preceded by an outdoor Mass. The image of the Virgen de Fuente Santa is carried in a solemn procession from the hermitage to Zorita.
