Las Casiñas Altas: Dolmens, Countryside and Holiday Apartments

Community and Festivals

A communal oven is documented in Las Casiñas. In Las Casiñas, communal ovens are still used two or three times a year so that those interested can bake breads and sweet pastries, which are shared at the festivals of Holy Week, the village or on a few other occasions. The communal oven in Las Casiñas is regarded as a covered, warm refuge where children spent winter afternoons.

For the patron saint's festival of Las Casiñas in honour of the Immaculate Conception, 2, 3 and 4 June were announced as festival days. The programme for the patron saint's festival in Las Casiñas included gastronomic presentations. The announced programme included horse ribbon races. Las Casiñas's only bar has come back to life thanks to Alejandro's commitment.
