Arestúy is located in the Baiasca Valley. The village lies on the right bank of the Riu de Baiasca. Arestúy is 4.6 km from the main road. This connection preserves both the viewpoint’s relationship with the landscape and the memory of the land’s former use at the end of the path.

The Pico Carbonero summit is located in the surroundings of Arestúy. The Pic de Mainera summit is also located in the surroundings of Arestúy. The Torreta de l'Orri summit is likewise situated nearby. The Pala Pedregosa de Llessui summit is also in the surroundings of Arestúy. The four named summits expand the Baiasca Valley’s landscape context with several identified points around the village. Pico Carbonero, Pic de Mainera, Torreta de l'Orri and Pala Pedregosa de Llessui each remain independent summits with the same geographical relationship: they are located in the surroundings of Arestúy.
