Four official routes of the Parc Natural de les Capçaleres del Ter i del Freser pass through the municipality of Setcases.
The official route list of the Parc Natural includes the Circ d’Ulldeter circular hike in Setcases, measuring 4.5 km, with 345 metres of ascent and an estimated duration of 1 hour and 25 minutes.

The Ruta del Ter can be completed on foot or by bicycle along the Ter through five Catalan counties.

Nature
The Pedreres de la vall de Carlat comprise sandstone, marble and slate outcrops at the entrance to the Carlat valley, shortly after leaving Setcases.
Salt del Cossi d’en Batlló is the highest and best-known waterfall in the Carboners valley.
The Riera de Carboners drops more than 1,000 metres in less than five kilometres, forming a series of waterfalls and pools.
The Plans de Carboners are open landscapes of ecological value, maintained through traditional extensive grazing.
Baga de Carboners is an old subalpine forest of mountain pines (Pinus uncinata), considered rich in biodiversity.
Bosc de la Baidana on Muntanya de Sant Miquel forms part of an extensive, well-developed and old mountain pine forest.
History
The Església de Sant Miquel de Setcases dates from the late 17th century.
Its main altar is an outstanding sculptural work of the Catalan Baroque.
The Farga de la Llosa was an important proto-industrial enterprise in the 17th and 18th centuries.
No building remains of the Farga de la Llosa; however, iron oxides and slag from the forge can still be found in its surroundings.
Cabanes de la Serra comprises former cultivated plots and hay meadows on land with an elevation difference of 500 metres.
According to local legend, a flowering elder on La Creueta indicated a safe place; seven houses were built there, giving rise to Setcases.
La Creueta is about a ten-minute walk, with an elevation difference of 50 metres and a distance of just over 300 metres.
The Refugio de Ulldeter opened on 25 July 1909 and became the first mountain refuge in Spain.
Culture
The XXI Fira de les Herbes i Flors de Muntanya was announced for 4 July 2026 in Setcases; it was intended to showcase medicinal plants from the area around Setcases and their uses.
