Wine and Culture

Since around 2015, the Museo Torre del Vino has organised an annual programme of experiences and activities centred on wine culture. At Bodegas Cristo de la Vega, a guided cellar tour includes accompaniment by an oenologist, followed by a wine tasting. Bodega Explotaciones Hermanos Delgado offers a tour of its facilities, including a visit to the cellar and a tasting of three wines. Finca El Refugio combines a tour of its facilities with a subsequent wine tasting.

Manchavino takes place every year in September, around the beginning of the grape harvest. The festival includes the offering of the first must, as well as the opening of the wineries and their wines to locals and visitors.
