Molinos reveals its special character right within the village: in the Barranco de las Fuentes, the Salto de San Nicolás forms a 30-metre-high waterfall. Nature

The Grutas de Cristal were declared a natural monument, are located within the municipality of Molinos and can be reached from the village via a well-signposted access route. The karst complex comprises two cave chambers: the Sala de los Cristales and the Sala Marina. The Grutas de Cristal are also associated with the discovery of the jawbone of the “hombre de Molinos”. The find is considered the oldest hominid discovery in Aragón and is more than 25,000 years old.

Culture

Two squares lie directly next to each other in the historic centre of Molinos. One of them is the Plaza Mayor, which has arcades along much of its perimeter. The Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves dates from the 15th century.

The Torre-Campanario, also known as the Torre del Reloj, is another part of the village's historic setting. The Sala de Eleuterio Blasco Ferrer adds an artistic touch with a collection of works by the sculptor after whom it is named.

Routes

Several routes explore Molinos from different directions and with various activity focuses. The PR-TE 91 connects Ejulve and Molinos through the Barranco de Santa Lucía; the narrow Caleja del Huergo gorge lies in its upper section. The route between Ejulve and Molinos is 13.3 kilometres long and is stated to take 3 hours and 50 minutes.

The PR-TE 55 Molinos Mountains is a route shared by hikers and cyclists, with its first section beginning in Molinos. The fourth stage of the GR 8.1 also leads from Molinos towards Ejulve. The different route lengths, directions and activity types can be considered separately when planning your days in the surrounding area.

For cycling, the R07 Centro BTT: Ruta del Agua descends to Molinos at kilometre 15; the Barranco de San Nicolás can be seen there. Short paths and longer routes therefore offer different options, without the village's natural and cultural attractions fading into the background.
