Torralba de Aragón combines two celebrations held on fixed dates with hermitages, preserved examples of vernacular architecture and routes through the countryside. On 3 May, Torralba de Aragón celebrates the festival in honour of Santa Cruz. The festival in honour of the Virgen del Rosario follows on the first Sunday in October. On Rosario Sunday, the traditional Corrida de Roscas takes place in Torralba de Aragón after the Eucharist. The two festival dates and the additional custom on Rosario Sunday thus represent different occasions within the local annual calendar.

Hermitages and Architecture

The Ermita de Santa Ana stands on a small hill a little outside Torralba de Aragón. The present building was constructed in the 1960s and replaces an older hermitage dating from the 18th century. The present Ermita de Santa Elena replaces an earlier building that may have dated from the late 16th century and fell into disrepair after the Spanish Civil War. It has a single-nave layout with one bay and a main chapel. Torralba de Aragón also retains examples of vernacular Aragonese architecture. The two hermitages thus represent different historical layers: Santa Ana refers to a 1960s reconstruction with an older predecessor, while Santa Elena combines a possibly late-Renaissance predecessor with its present architectural arrangement.

Torralba de Aragón is located on a small hill in the plains of Violada. The Senda de la Guardia Civil connects Tardienta and Robres, passes through the municipality of Torralba de Aragón and offers panoramic views.
