Santalecina lies on the right bank of the Río Cinca. At Tozal de los Moros, remains of a possible Iberian settlement and a Roman villa can be seen. For your planning, these historical traces can be organized according to different interests together with the festival dates and the named destinations in the surrounding area.
Culture and History
The Iglesia del Salvador in Santalecina is an example of 16th-century Aragonese Gothic architecture. It was restored in the 19th century.
In the Partida de La Roya, also known as Larrolla, halfway between Santalecina and Castelflorite, there is a pointed arch. It is the only surviving evidence of the Iglesia de San Pedro.

Landscape and Getting There
The Azud de Los Pocetes de Santalecina is located in the Los Pocetes area in the Barranco de La Clamor. Santalecina can be reached via the A-130 road in the direction of Alcolea de Cinca.
For your personal planning, you can sort the places mentioned by location and theme: Santalecina itself, the route between Santalecina and Castelflorite, and destinations in the surrounding area and the wider regional area form different levels of orientation. Historical evidence, landscape connections, festivals and parks can be saved separately for later reference. The festival date can also be saved independently of the cultural and park destinations if you organize your travel dates by theme.
The geographical classification of the destinations mentioned follows different points of reference. The pointed arch of La Roya refers to the connection with Castelflorite, while the monastery, church, castle and monument, as well as the four parks, are expressly assigned to the surrounding area or the wider regional area. This keeps local history, landscape connections and regional destinations legible as separate themes without mixing up their respective locations or classifications. The chronological references also set their own accents: the church belongs to 16th-century architecture, its restoration is assigned to the 19th century, and the festival dates remain approximately linked to 6 August.
