Bonansa – Festival Culture and Trails on the GR 17

Bonansa celebrates the summer solstice with the Fallas de San Juan: The fallas are carried down and then bonfires are lit. This Pyrenean tradition was added to the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2015. The custom, which is firmly associated with the summer solstice, takes place alongside the major festivals held in Bonansa in mid-August.
