Villa Zazurca is the former residence of the Marquis Don Félix Guillermo Rebolledo de Palafox. Its cellar still contains vessels that were used to store oil, wine and grain. The Torno de Aceite is located on the ground floor of a former oil mill and illustrates traditional olive cultivation; the original machinery has been preserved. Preserved architectural elements, religious sites and former workplaces stand side by side in Salas Bajas as different historical testimonies.

The festivities of Salas Bajas take place on the weekend closest to the feast day of San Ramón and include a pilgrimage to the hermitage. The residents of nearby Salas Bajas make a pilgrimage every Saturday in May to the Ermita de la Virgen del Plano.
