Vráble has been a wine-growing region for several centuries. At the same time, the town preserves tangible traces of its history: south of Vráble lies the Fidvár archaeological site on fertile fields locally known as Fidvár. By the end of 2018, Fidvár had been declared a national cultural monument of Slovakia. Throughout the year, the Vrábeľské slávnosti vinobrania also form part of the local events calendar. Božia muka, also known as Vendelínko, is a Classicist wayside chapel in the Horný Ohaj district dating from the first half of the 19th century. The church grounds contain the Súsošie kalvárie, a late Baroque sandstone group dating from 1768. In Dolné Prédium stands the Kaplnka sv. Urbana, a Classicist chapel dating from 1813. The Jewish cemetery on Družstevná ulica was established at the end of the 19th century. In the Horný Ohaj district, the Dom ľudových tradícií houses a permanent exhibition on traditional living as well as exhibits.

Older structural elements have also been documented underground: archaeological investigations next to the church uncovered the remains of the Baroque tower of an older church. The building later known as Stoličný dom was constructed in 1831–1832 as the Stoličný úrad. Today, the town museum is located in Stoličný dom at Hlavná 170/33, 952 01 Vráble. The so-called Vrábeľská izba is also located there. The exhibitions at Stoličný dom are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 17:00.

Wine and Tradition

Viticulture in Vráble is reflected not only as a historic economic sector but also in recurring events. During the Otvorené vrábeľské pivnice, more than 40 local winemakers open their wine cellars so that visitors can taste their wines. Together with the annual Vinobranie, this creates a clear connection between local festival culture and the wine cellars of local winemakers. In this way, the site combines the history of milling with exhibits on the regional wildlife of that period.
