Culture

The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Lisková was consecrated in 1936. Its free-standing Baroque tower comes from an older church that was demolished in 1934 because of its poor structural condition.

In the centre of Lisková, on Vavra Šrobára Street beside the main road, stands the birthplace of Vavro Šrobár. A commemorative plaque was placed on this birthplace in 1937 on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
