Culture and History

The Meisterhaus was built in 1812 as the former guild house of Kirchberg's clothmakers. It houses Kirchberg's Textile and Local History Museum; access to the building and all rooms is barrier-free. The König Albert Tower on the Borberg is an observation tower offering views towards the Ore Mountains and Vogtland. Those who reach the tower climb 53 steps.

The Seven Hills Circular Trail includes the Borberg and is 11.2 kilometres long. The Hoher Forst mining landscape has a nature and mining educational trail as well as a hikers' rest area with the Huthaus Engländerstolln shelter.
