The first miller of the Strotzbüscher Mill is recorded for 1701; construction of the present-day mill building began in 1838. The mill is inhabited and offers guest accommodation. It was also the last mill in the Vulkaneifel district whose waterwheel was powered by the Üßbach.

Nature
The Üßbach Valley, also known as the Siebenbach Valley, is a wooded valley that can be reached from Strotzbüsch via a signposted hiking trail. The trail passes the local thermal spring and the mill with its campsite. The name Siebenbach Valley is explained by the fact that the stream can be seen seven times from a viewpoint on the opposite slope.
Strotzbüsch has a thermal and mineral spring in the Üßbach Valley, approximately 150 metres north of the Strotzbüscher Mill. Its water is described as having a temperature of approximately 20°C and is classified among the warm spring waters of the West Eifel–Moselle Valley mineral water province. Strotzbüsch mineral water contains 4,030 mg of dissolved minerals per litre and 614 mg/l of carbon dioxide; it is classified as sodium hydrogen carbonate chloride water. The formation of the Eifel mineral springs is associated with Quaternary volcanic activity, and volcanic rocks have been documented around Strotzbüsch.
