In Meisburg, the Lohsalm Valley is home to the restored and fully operational, water-powered sawmill. It is described as the only remaining water-powered sawmill in the Rhineland. Culture and History
The parish church of St. Bartholomew in Meisburg was rebuilt in 1768 and extended in 1851. Its interior includes a high altar, side altars and historic stained-glass windows. On the outside of the sacristy is an epitaph from 1609 for the priest Matthias Lösnich.
The area around Meisburg contains historic wayside crosses and wayside shrines made of sandstone, including the Rascheider Kreuz from 1587. The Tatzenkreuz dates from 1771. A collection of finds from the Meisburg area is exhibited in the municipal community centre and can be viewed by appointment.
