Lampaden: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Cycling

In the valley, the Ruwer-Hochwald Cycle Path runs along the edge of Lampaden and passes the site of the former Lampaden railway station. The approximately 48-kilometre route runs mostly along a former railway line and is suitable for families and inexperienced cyclists.

Village Character and Everyday Life

A bakery in the centre of Lampaden houses a small village shop selling everyday essentials, including fruit, vegetables and cheese. The municipality also has two inns.

The village panorama includes the Catholic parish church of St Quintinus, the community centre and a village square with a fountain.

The area surrounding Lampaden is home to Grimburg Castle ruins, Teufelskopf, the SS Special Camp/Hinzert Concentration Camp Memorial, the Mariensäule Trier and Sankt Georg.

Dreikopf, Hardtberg and Heid-Kopf are also located near Lampaden.
