Construction of the former provost church of St. Mary began in 1215 under Benedictine monks and was completed in the 14th century.

A disused railway line used for rail-bike rides is accompanied through the village by a parallel pedestrian and cycle path. In the Glan Valley, rail-bike rides use a former railway line and offer opportunities to enjoy the landscape; breaks are possible at inns and picnic areas.

The Glan-Blies Cycle Route is promoted locally as a family-friendly, varied and well-signposted cycling route. There are few inclines on sections that use former railway tracks. The hiking trails around Offenbach-Hundheim include both challenging tours and family-friendly, easy walks.

The Ernst-Reichel Hut has 50 indoor seats and, if required, outdoor seating. It also has toilets and a covered barbecue hut.
