Hennweiler: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In its Protestant St. Stephen's Church, Hennweiler features an impressive choir tower from the 12th/13th century, tombs and frescoes in the former choir, as well as a Stumm organ dating from 1846. The Old School is designated as a protected monument.

Culture

The Protestant Church of Hennweiler stands on a slight elevation in the historic village center. Its Baroque nave was built in 1790/1791. In 2018, a Romanesque priest's portal was uncovered on the outside. The Romanesque church tower was rebuilt after a severe fire around 1436 and is dated to the second half of the 13th century.

The Backes is described as Hennweiler's largest and only bakehouse. Every year, it is part of the beer and bakehouse hike, in which three villages participate.
