History on Information Boards and Scenic Trails

The Historic Circular Trail in Kastl introduces visitors to the history of selected buildings and their features with 33 information boards. The extended route, marked in yellow, adds another 18 boards. It leads to the monastery castle, through an area on the outskirts of Kastl, and onward to Pfaffenhofen and Pattershofen. The full route takes about two and a half hours—useful information when planning your day.

The surrounding area also offers a special viewpoint for cyclists: between Kastl and Ursensollen, the Schweppermann Cycle Path crosses an 18-metre-high viaduct with scenic views.
