The Reins River runs along the municipality of Saint-Vincent-de-Reins. It enabled numerous textile factories to settle in the village and gave the hamlet of Les Filatures its name. The Les Filatures industrial district was established two centuries ago on the Reins with the emergence of the first mechanised textile factories.

Paths and Nature
The Circuit 32 Les filatures circular trail is a moderately difficult, 11-kilometre hike that takes around 3 hours and 30 minutes. It is signposted with yellow markings and route number 32 on a red background. The trail starts in the centre of Saint-Vincent, leads to the Les Filatures district and returns to the village via the former railway station.
A footpath leads to the Croix Blanche de Propremont, an ex-voto cross blessed in 1933. Saint-Vincent-de-Reins is located around 7 km from Lac des Sapins, a leisure park with a swimming area, sailing centre and horse-riding facilities.
History
The Pont de la Côte was the terminus for several years of the Amplepuis–Saint-Vincent-de-Reins railway line operated by the narrow-gauge railway. Notre-Dame de Saint-Vincent began at the end of the 19th century as a Marian devotional project with a statue and a chapel.
Culture
The traditional Marche des cèpes is organised on the fourth Sunday in September. It is one of the main events organised by the Saint-Vincent-de-Reins festival committee; other events vary from year to year.
