Meyzieu: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The “Un fleuve, une île et des hommes” hiking trail is a 3.9 km, one-hour PR trail that starts at L’îloz’.

Culture and History

Fort de Meyzieu was built between 1893 and 1896 for a garrison of 183 men and 22 cannons. On 24 August 1944, it was blown up by the Germans; of the four shelters, only Shelter No. 1 with its three rooms is visible.
