The Château de Jarnioux is listed as a historic monument. It has six towers, some of which are covered with glazed tiles. The listing includes all façades and roofs and was made by decree on 16 May 1966. The Château de Jarnioux and its park have been listed as a protected site since 7 October 1946.

Culture and History
Among the surviving buildings of the Château de Jarnioux from various periods is a Renaissance building attributed to Philibert de l’Orme. The Chapelle Sainte-Catherine is listed in its entirety as a historic monument. In 2001, murals were discovered in the chapel dating from the 14th to the 19th century and depicting the faces of saints.
The Saint-Etienne Church is built entirely of golden stone; its nave is supported by ten pillars with carved capitals. Construction began in 1888, and it was consecrated on 16 September 1889. The Lavoir de Jarnioux was built in 1872, and its architecture is reminiscent of a Doric temple in ancient Greece. The ensemble of golden stone at the Lavoir de Jarnioux attracts particular attention and is frequently photographed.
