Gargas: Holiday Apartments and Houses

At the Mines de Bruoux, an underground ochre network extends over 40 km. The underground visitor route is 650 m long and leads through galleries more than 15 m high. The Mines de Bruoux can only be visited as part of a 50-minute guided tour.

The Église Saint Denis in Gargas preserves 17th-century tapestries and paintings depicting the life of Saint Denis. The Sainte Radegonde Romanesque chapel was built on the Perréal in 1551.

Landscape

The remains of a Gallic oppidum can be seen along the wooded ridge trail of the Colline de Perréal. The Colline de Perréal also offers panoramic views of the Apt region.

The GR 6 “Alpes-Océan” passes through Gargas and its hamlets amid ochre-coloured and wooded landscapes.
