The Moulin du Marais provides spaces for artists' residencies. The Moulin du Marais also includes an event hall and an open-air theatre. A walk along the Chaboussant reveals a pond and the Moulin du Marais.
The parish church of Saint-Médard is located on the Place du Marché in Lezay and was consecrated in 1830. The Temple de Lezay is located at 18 Rue du Temple. Services are held there on some Sundays throughout the year at 10:30 a.m.; the event calendar is authoritative for the specific dates. The circular trail to the Protestant family cemeteries also leads to a historic site: the 13th-century Logis de Teillé, whose moats have been partially preserved.

Nature and trails
The Chaboussant rises southwest of Lezay. The “Lezay d’hier à aujourd’hui” circular trail runs through the town and the Chaboussant valley. It uses 26 old postcards to convey the town’s history.
The landscape includes the ZNIEFF Plaine de la Mothe Saint-Héray-Lezay, with wet meadows and calcareous dry grasslands. It is of great importance for birds of the open plain.
