Congrier combines culture, landscape and local history into a diverse picture.
Culture
The Église Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens was built from 1882 to 1885 according to plans by the departmental architect Eugène Hawke. It replaced a church built in 1802, which had itself replaced the church burned down in 1794.
The Chapelle Saint-Lézin was restored from July 2013 to November 2015 and blessed on 22 October 2016. It is connected with Congrier’s slate-mining heritage; the municipality’s slate quarries were operated from the mid-15th century until the first quarter of the 20th century. The chapel commemorates the veneration of Saint Lézin as the oldest patron saint of slate workers.
The Église Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens contains several stained-glass windows associated with the new technique of reinforced polyester laminate, which Father Bernard Chardon used for the restoration or embellishment of stained-glass windows. The MAmusée is an artistic and cultural space designed by the visual artist Qiang MA, which opened in 2021.
The ground-floor rooms of the MAmusée offer a varied scenography for group exhibitions. The MAmusée offers workshops for adults; temporary exhibitions are also held there.
Those who choose Congrier as a travel destination may wish to find a holiday apartment.

The Mare des Guillotières in Congrier was restored in 2011. Monitoring in 2018 recorded six amphibian species at this pond.
The walking route “Circuit de Saint-Aignan et Boucles des Caves” leads to two small ponds located 800 metres apart and is marked with the place names Congrier and La Rouaudière.
