La Girouardière in Peuton was registered as a historic monument on June 14, 2002. The protected complex includes the residential building, chapel, bread oven, and tower at the northern entrance in their entirety. The protection also covers the façades and roofs of the outbuilding, as well as the archaeological ground area of the former defensive system.

The circular route starts at the car park of the municipal pond of Peuton, runs between Peuton and Marigné-Peuton, and reaches the Sentier de la carrière on the way back to Peuton.

La Ferme de Peuton is a permaculture farm that offers baskets of organically grown vegetables, as well as programmes for a stay or immersion on the farm.
