Nature
The protected educational wetland, Marais pédagogique, recreates the Basses Vallées Angevines on a small scale. Picking flowers or pulling up plants is prohibited there. The natural meadows of Briollay provide a breeding habitat for the rare corncrake, and Briollay's natural landscape is part of the Natura 2000 network.
Hiking
Four signposted hiking trails, including a shared trail, start from Briollay. The signposted hiking trail Les prairies alluviales is 15.5 kilometres long and marked in yellow.
Culture and History
The Church of Saint-Marcel was built in the 11th and 12th centuries. Guided tours with commentary are held in the Church of Saint-Marcel during the European Heritage Days.
The Palais Perrin dates from the beginning of the 13th century. It is one of the few surviving secular buildings in the so-called Plantagenet style.
