Loubressac is situated on a rocky spur above the valleys of the Dordogne, Cère and Bave rivers. The cliffs near Loubressac offer views of the Cirque d'Autoire.

Culture and history
The Church of Saint John the Baptist has been listed as a Historic Monument since 21 June 1971. The present Church of Saint John the Baptist was built in the 14th century and completed in 1520. Its sculpted portal features Christ in Majesty and the Crucifixion on the figurative tympanum.
Loubressac Castle was built in the second half of the 14th century as the residence of the Barons of Loubressac. It is privately owned and not open to the public.
The plateau, along with the ensemble comprising Loubressac Castle and the village, has been listed in the inventory of the Lot's picturesque sites since 20 July 1972.
The Pont de Maday is also listed as a Historic Monument. It stood along the Cami Roumieu, a pilgrimage route used by pilgrims travelling from Clermont-Ferrand or Le Puy-en-Velay to Rocamadour.
The hamlets of Loubressac feature a small architectural heritage comprising wells, ovens, washhouses and livestock pens.
Hiking and orientation
The “Nos Plus Beaux Villages” circular hiking route starts in Loubressac, is 7.7 km long, takes 2 hours and 30 minutes, and is of medium difficulty.
At Place du Foirail, a touchscreen information pillar provides access to information about hiking routes and organised tours. Free public toilets are also available there.
Regional products
La Ferme Cazal produces Rocamadour, made from raw goat's milk and recognised as an AOP product, as well as walnut oil. La Ferme Cazal welcomes visitors at the farm and at the regional markets where the farm has a presence.
