Felletin: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Culture
The Church of Sainte-Valérie, also known as the Church of Moutier, was founded at the beginning of the 12th century and remodelled in the 15th century. It contains frescoes from various periods and in various styles, painted wooden statues from the 12th, 15th and 19th centuries, as well as richly decorated altarpieces from the 17th century.
The Church of Notre-Dame-du-Château is a Gothic building constructed from 1478 onwards in a single building campaign. The guided local tour “À la découverte de Felletin” is offered year-round for groups of at least four people.
Nature
The “Vallées et châteaux” route starts in Felletin’s town centre and is a 21.0-kilometre circular route. It follows the rivers and streams Creuse, Chavanat, Sannebèche, Bas-Bouteix and Arfeuille, connects the castles of Bas-Bouteix and Arfeuille, and passes through the municipalities of Felletin, Saint Quentin-la-Chabanne and Saint-Frion in a wooded landscape. From Felletin, the route can be completed on foot or by mountain bike.
Events
The Journées Internationales de la Laine bring together wool industry professionals and the general public. Their offerings include guided tours of businesses, demonstrations of craft skills, children’s workshops and exhibitions.
