Wellness

The Évaux-les-Bains thermal centre specialises in treating rheumatism and venous insufficiency and offers three therapeutic areas: rheumatology, phlebology and gynaecology. The thermal baths cover 1,000 m² and are equipped with modern treatment facilities.

The Les Bains d’Evahona spa covers 550 m². It has a hammam, a whirlpool, an ice fountain, a traditional sauna, an infrared sauna, a salt grotto and a relaxation pool. Thermes & Spa Évaux-les-Bains offers thermal short stays of 1 to 6 days for prevention and well-being. The complementary workshops at the Évaux-les-Bains thermal centre are open to everyone, not only spa guests.

Nature

The Parc aux daims is located in the protected thermal valley halfway between the town centre and the thermal baths.

The easy Tournada Panorama circular trail starts at the thermal centre, leads beyond the town boundaries into the hills and offers a comprehensive panoramic view of the town centre. Tournada Panorama is an 8-kilometre circular hiking trail with a duration of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Les Rochers de Bord is an easy, 7.1-kilometre circular hiking trail with a duration of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. The trail follows a goat path lined with boxwood through a wild landscape of gorges.

Culture

The Circum Evahonum circular trail leads to the town of Évaux-les-Bains’ small architectural and built heritage sites.

The Église Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul is a protected historic monument; it was classified on 1 October 1841. The Abbatiale Saint-Pierre Saint-Paul houses a reliquary bust of Saint Marian made of carved and gilded wood. One section of the abbey church is square at its base, becoming round towards the top and then octagonal.

The Maison des Saints is a historic building dating from the 19th century in the town centre of Évaux-les-Bains, south of the Église Saint-Pierre. It was partially listed as a historic monument on 28 May 2025. The Maison des Saints contains 53 plaster casts, three stone sculptures and around ten canopies and consoles. It was expanded by Abbé Anselme Simonet, who had statues recovered from the restoration site of Notre-Dame de Paris in Paris installed there.

The Viaduc de la Tardes was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel between 1885 and 1887. It formerly served as a railway line for trains between Paris and Ussel; since 2008, it has no longer been used by railway lines.
