Saint-Avit-De-Tardes: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Saint-Avit-de-Tardes has a compact village centre grouped around a former priory. Built onto the north side of Saint-Avit Church, the former priory consists of two wings arranged at right angles to each other around an entrance courtyard. The courtyard is accessed through a portal with pilasters, crowned by bulbous pyramids topped with spheres.

Culture and History
Saint-Avit Church is a single-nave building with three bays and a straight-ended choir dating from the late 13th century; in modern times, it was supplemented by a chapel on the south side. In the 14th or 15th century, the church was raised and fortified. The church, built onto the former priory, also has a bell gable.
Inside, the altar ensemble is classified as a protected historic monument. Its niches contain, from left to right, statuettes of a bishop, Saint Peter (?), Saint Paul (?), and Saint Margaret. Adjacent to the church is the cemetery of Saint-Avit-de-Tardes, with magnificent tomb monuments.
Another attraction in the village is the Circuit du Mas du Clos. The race track is 3.1 kilometres long and includes different types of bends, including wide bends, double bends, right-left bends and banked bends, as well as straights. Driving and motorcycling days and driving training sessions are held there.
Hiking
A circular hiking trail begins in Saint-Avit-de-Tardes and leads via the D 28, the Roman road near La Prade, and the red-and-white marked GR4 to Lacaux and the Moulin de Teiteix. The hiking trail is 5.8 kilometres long, rated as very easy, and listed as taking 1 hour and 30 minutes.
